I watched a movie where two young loves shared their true love’s first kiss. My friend said, “You’re going to love this” and I thought “Yeah right.” It isn’t real. Or maybe it is… just not for someone like me. Not now. I am going to try to take a more practical approach to dating – meeting people for the sake of having company. If romance surprises me, so be it, but I think my chance has passed.
Which breaks my heart and makes me wish I didn’t even have one… but I’ll cry it out, I’ll eat my ice cream. I’ll get over it and get on with life.
